I checked the ac volts from the stator and in a nutshell at 1000rpm 19.6v, 3000rpm 45v and 5000rpm 74v. So it now points to the regulator. I know its history, which has mostly been sitting in a garage. It only had 11.7 hours on it when the previous owner passed away in January. The hose comes from the tank to the pump then the inline filter then to the driver side to the carb. It is a black hose that is about 1/4 inch I.D. The fuel pump will have two wires to it. It has 740 miles on it and I was driving down a dirt trail in 2-wheel drive mode and all 4 wheels started to fight each other. It appears that the front differential was locked up and with the added resistance the rear wheels were essentially pushing them along.Apr 4, 2019 · We don't run them that hard (we even run in low under 20mph). The turf mode issues -- common problem. The axle issues -- common problem. The throttle body adapter -- common problem if you google it. It has cost a lot of motors. Note it is a maintenance item at 50hrs to check it so make sure you do. Cut this close to the three way fuse holder. Splice this to the new fuse holder. Put shrink sleeve over the joint. Now undo the terminal on the main contactor where the multi plug is connected (Pack side of the contactor) . Be careful this is the live terminal to the pack put the 8mm ring terminal on and re tighten.Whatever solution you choose, it’s important to address the issue promptly to avoid further damage to your Polaris Ranger. This last time I made it 400 miles and blew a belt, so I took off the secondary and opened it up, and of course nothing left of rollers and clips, helix is pretty chewed up. One thing is you don't put a 20 amp fuse in a 10amp spot because a fuse is a circuit Protector and puting a 20 in a 10 would damage whatever is on that circuit. I had hard shifting problems with mine, Polaris put in a 2012 clutch. Same problem. The 13&14 have the same hard shifting issues. There are no aftermarket clutch kits, springs, etc. available for the diesels. The only solution to the problem is a dura clutch. Best way to find out if turf mode is actually working is to ride and make a turn.
